Effect of Water Stress and Rehydration on the Cluster and Fruit Quality of Greenhouse Tomatoes

The water needs for tomato crops are very high and could limit the viability of cultivation in semiarid environments. There is no agreement among works on irrigation regarding sensibility flowering period. In addition, there a lack studies about effects stress fruit cluster development under severe stress. aim this work was to evaluate effect rehydration during development. experiment conducted greenhouse (Seville, Spain) two different growth cycles (autumn 2021 spring 2022) using three cultivars. Two treatments were applied: control, with full irrigated conditions, stress, without fifth (43 days (autumn) 21 (spring) after transplantation) followed by rehydration.
